A friendly golden retriever was found on April 25th near the Valrico dog park off Highway 60. This sweet boy is approximately 5-6 years old, weighs around 65 pounds, and is wearing a red collar. He appears to be in good health overall, though he is limping slightly on his front left leg, which may indicate a minor injury.

We're working to locate his family, but so far, no owner has been identified. If this is your dog or if you recognize him, please reach out immediately. We're also asking our Valrico neighbors to keep an eye out as you go about your day—check your local community pages and ask friends if they know of anyone missing a golden retriever.
