Our beloved community member is searching for their missing German Shepherd, Max. This 3-year-old male has been missing since May 8th from the Westshore area near Brandon Boulevard. Max weighs approximately 75 pounds and has distinctive tan and black coloring. He was last seen near the dog park on Lithia Pinecrest Road.

Max is wearing a collar with ID tags and is friendly and responsive to his name. If you live or work in the Brandon area, please keep an eye out for him during your daily activities. Check your yards, garages, and sheds—sometimes frightened pets hide in unexpected places.

We're asking all Valrico neighbors to share this alert with friends and family. Even if you're unsure, a sighting report could be the breakthrough needed to bring Max home safely.
