Very dog-friendly. Most neighborhoods have sidewalks for walking. Bloomingdale Park has open space. Boyette Springs Dog Park (about 10 minutes south) has separate areas for large and small dogs. Multiple vets and pet stores are along SR-60 and Bloomingdale Ave. Many HOA communities allow dogs with minimal breed restrictions. The main concern is the summer heat — walk your dog early morning or after sunset from June through September.
