Alafia River State Park in Lithia is a 6,700-acre preserve with over 20 miles of mountain biking trails — some of the best purpose-built mountain bike trails in Florida. It also has hiking, horseback riding, a campground, and ATV trails on a former phosphate mine reclaimed into beautiful rolling terrain. The elevation changes are surprising for Florida and make this a legitimately challenging bike destination.
