TECO's Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach is the single best manatee viewing spot in the Tampa Bay area — it's free and the manatees congregate in the warm discharge water right along the viewing platforms. Lee County's Three Sisters Springs is the most spectacular swimming-with-manatees experience in Florida. November through March is peak season.
