Is there nightlife near Valrico?

Valrico itself is quiet at night — it's a family suburb. For nightlife, you'll head to Tampa or Ybor City (25-30 minutes), which has a full bar and club scene. SoHo (South Howard Ave) in Tampa is the upscale going-out district. St. Pete's downtown has a thriving bar and restaurant scene. Locally, Beef O'Brady's and a few sports bars on SR-60 are good for a casual drink. Most Valrico residents who want a night out drive into Tampa.
